Mysuru: Mysuru is surely the next destination for budding entrepreneurs, as per the recent data by the government of India regarding startups showing a big thumbs up.
Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India released recent startup statistics regarding and it shows Mysuru is second after Bengaluru in encouraging startups.
As on date (May 5) Mysuru has 543 startups particularly in ESDN and Cyber security segments.
In Bengaluru there are 39 unicorns with 16,652 startups, IT, E-commerce and fintech companies are rooted in Bengaluru, followed by Belagavi – 310 startups, Hubli-Dharwad- 233 startups and Mangaluru- 186 startups.
Amid this, Mysuru recently got ISMC mega semiconductor fab unit from Israel based company which is expected to boost the prospects of the city further.
IT -BT Minister Dr C N Ashwathnarayana also said “Karnataka is the best destination for startups”.
