1 min read

New Delhi: Early trends indicate, the predictions in the exit polls especially in the case of Haryana is reversed with the counting of votes underway on October 24.

BJP that had formed a government with 47 MLAs in 2014 elections in Haryana is leading in 41 seats, less than five seats to reach the magic number of 46 seats, to cross the simple majority mark in 90 member assembly in that State.

Congress is leading in 32 seats a come back for the grand old party that had to be content with 15 seats in the previous elections.

The surprise factor is newly founded Jan Nayak Janta Party ( JJP) which is leading in nine seats. It is a splinter group of Indian National Lok Dal ( INLD) of Chautala family. It had won 19 seats in the 2014 elections.
