Wild boar killed in ‘tiger’ attack

Chamarajanagar: In a suspected case, a tiger has killed a wild boar at Vaddagere village in Gundlupet taluk. The incident has come to light on Saturday morning.

The carcass of wild boar with its detached head was found in the agricultural field of farmer Girish at the village. The incident is suspected to have occurred at 4 am.

The incident has sent shock waves among the villagers, as in the recent two days ago a tiger had resurfaced near Mallaiahanakatte in the same taluk. The forest personnel had kept a cage to trap the big cat.
