1 min read

Mysuru: Henceforth it is easy to identify the houses of Covid-19 infected persons, especially in the localities in Krishnaraja Assembly constituency.

MLA S A Ramadass on Saturday launched an initiative to install white flags printed Covid-19, in front of the houses of patients down by the pandemic. The very initiative is to ensure easy mapping of the Covid patients.

Those who are affected by Covid-19 are not exercising self-restraint. While their family members without any safety are freely moving outside visiting shops to purchase daily needs. It’s difficult to map positive persons and their contacts. To make it easy, especially to break the chain, the measure has been taken,” according to those involved in it.

Ramadass hit upon this new idea to keep a white flag and easily map Covid-19 positive persons home and supply daily needs to their doorsteps. The flag will be removed after 14 days by the ward wise taskforce committee, said Ramadass after inaugurating the programme at Rajaram Agrahara.

Ramadass also mentioned that “in two days we will be supplying medicine kits to such houses,” he said.

Mayor Rukmini Madegowda and Corporator B V Manjunath were present.
