Mysuru: Sudhakar S Shetty a former chairman of Federation of Karnataka Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FKCCI) has lauded Cyberabad police for gunning down four accused of raping and murdering a veterinarian, in encounter.
When the accused easily get acquitted in the cases against women, it’s the utmost duty of the police to bring such accused to book by encounters, said Shetty.
Nation should laud the decision of Cyberabad police for gunning down the accused who tried to escape from their clutches. They had criminal intention and in such cases it becomes inevitable for the police to open fire.
It is our responsibility to extend moral support to police in such conditions.
Amid this, Unnao rape survivor in Uttar Pradesh died of burns after she was set ablaze by the accused who were out on bail. It has brought a disrepute to the country, said Shetty.
