Mysuru: Not withstanding the state government’s firm stand on continuing the Weekend Curfew in eight districts including Mysuru, Federation of Organisations and Associations of Mysuru has appealed to the traders to “Observe Weekend Curfew Under Protest.”
In a social media campaign launched by B S Prashanth President of the federation ” the traders of D Devaraja Urs road and Santhepet are requested to stage protest wearing black band on August 21 at 10.30 am. Only two from each shops are requested to stand outside in protest by maintaining social distance.”
The federation is making consistent efforts to impress upon the state government to revoke the order on Weekend Curfew in the interest of tourism.
The office-bearers also met Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai during his recent visit to city.
