Shamanth Kumar B U, Assistant Professor, Department of MBA, GSSSIETW gave a brief introduction about the topic and Usha B, Assistant Professor, Department of MBA, GSSSIETW introduced the chief guest to the participants.

Her Money Talks” is India’s first one stop financial platform for women and students and a concept backed by NASSCOM and Goldman Sachs. It is an award-winning company featured by mainstream media for their financial literacy mission and financial awareness programs for UG and PG students.

This financial awareness program is mandated by RBI and the participants will receive certifications. These programs already conducted in many premier institutions like IIMs, NITs and IITs.

While addressing the gathering, Chief Guest, Anisha Jain stressed on the importance of financial planning among young professionals.

She continued that, students often do not participate in financial discussions at home. School curricula often do not include financial education.

As a result, the important habit of saving or financial planning gets lost on teenagers. Strong financial awareness will educate teenagers the importance of organizing money and develop a habit of savings which leads to financial success in life.

The most memorable moments of the function were marked by the precious words of appreciation by the chief guest about the enthusiasm of students towards financial planning. The program was very useful to the students as well as the faculties for understanding the importance of managing money and organizing money to meet life’s unpredictable demands.

Dr Jayan V K, Associate Professor, Department of MBA, GSSSIETW delivered the vote of thanks and Pavithra Gowtham NS, Assistant Professor, Department of MBA, GSSSIETW was the MOC, according to Mahanthesh U, Assistant Professor, Department of ECE, GSSSIETW Mysuru.
