Warm farewell for Cesc AE in Hunsur

Mysuru: K R Purushotham retired as assistant engineer of Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Corporation Limited ( Cescorp), Hunsur sub- division on June 29.

Various organisations gave a warm farewell to the outgoing officer whom they described as a people friendly engineer. He attained superannuation after 35 years of service in the department.

AEE Cesc ( Meter) R S Mallegowda said ‘Nowadays it’s very difficult to work in the department under pressure. The increase in dependency on power has made it difficult to work according to the demands of the people’.

Karnataka Rakshana Vedike taluk unit president Parashuram said ‘whenever there was any complaints, Purushotham was attending to it on priority. Be it any time, he was restoring the power supply’.

The family members of Purushotham were also present.

Karnataka Rajya Raitha Sangha district president Hosur Kumar, Hunsur TMC former president Chandrashekar, Cesc AEE Siddappa, Vice- president of Cesc Diploma Engineers Association Ravilingappa, Secretary Cesc Employees Association Sandeep, president of 659 Employees Association Shivakumar and Suresh of SC, ST Association were present.
