Scion of erstwhile royal family of Mysuru Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar and his son Aadyaveer Wadiyar.

Trishika Kumari on Friday exchanged bagina as per tradition for Gowri festival.

The tradition inherited from ancestors is still in practice, with Yaduveer performing the rituals.

Yaduveer who always keeps the people informed about most of the details associated with the Palace has shared the photos of festival celebration inside the palace, on Facebook page.

Unlike previous years, what’s missing this year is the presence of elephants in palace precincts.

Every year Dasara elephants were camping during this time at Palace. The forest personnel were offering puja to the elephants that were a symbol of elephant headed Lord Ganesha.

With the crises over Covid-19 pandemic still on, there is no decision yet on bringing the elephants from the forest.
