Vishnuvardhan 70! Fans from Mandya throng memorial site in Mysuru, celebrate birth anniversary

Mysuru: Fans of late actor Vishnuvardhan celebrated 70th birth anniversary of their favourite actor on Friday.
The fans led by T S Srikante Gowda president of Vishnu Sena, Mandya who had driven all the way to the site identified for the memorial of the actor at Halalu opposite Udbur Gate on Mysuru- H D Kote road, decorated the portrait of Vishnuvardhan with flowers and Kannada flags.
They also cut the birthday cake printed with the image of the actor.
Actress Bharati Vishnuvardhan also joined them in the celebration.
The jubilant fans also raised slogans in favour of Dada, the nickname of the actor that is popular among his fans.
Three days ago on September 15, Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa virtually took part in the foundation laying ceremony for the actor’s memorial.
