Villages sealed down! RLHP helps economically weaker families with food kits

Mysuru: Rural Literacy and Health Programme (RLHP) a NGO is helping economically weaker families at those villages in Mysuru taluk which are sealed down due to most number of Covid-19 cases.

RLHP and Wipro Care are jointly distributing 1000 food and medicine kits at 25 villages.

On Thursday, food kits were distributed at M C Hundi, Inam Uttanahalli and Chatnahalli in Kilapura Gram Panchayat limits. As the villages are sealed down, villagers are unable to engage in daily works and have been rendered jobless.

RLHP Secretary Josh V K, Director Saraswati, Kilnapura GP president Sakkubhai and PDO Mayappa distributed 400 kits comprising  10 KG rice, 2 KG sugar, 2 Kg Tur dal, 2 KG moong dal, soaps, masks and sanitisers were distributed.

RLHP is active in Mysuru since 36 years and is working in 52 slums and 136 villages. It mainly works to uplift people through literary and health programmes.
