Villagers wake up to sight wild tusker

Mysuru: A wild tusker has been spotted in a village in H D Kote taluk bordering Nagarahole forest on November 3.

The villagers of Madapura woke up to see the elephant roaming on the outskirts of the village, creating fear in the mind of villagers.

The curious villagers climbed atop a rocky terrain to keep a tab on the animal.

The forest officials who received an information have rushed to the village. The frequent encounter with wild animals has been worrying the villagers.
