VHP leader Sharan Pumpwell demands ban on PFI

Mangaluru: Vishwa Hindu Parishad divisional secretary Sharan Pumpwell has condemned the act of Popular Front of India (PFI) activists. He has demanded the ban on PFI.
Following the arrest of some PFI activists on the charges of assaulting fish vendors, PFI activists who were staging protest in front of the police station, took to violence and attacked police with weapons injuring several of them.
It is highly condemnable and whoever attacked the police who discharge their duties by keeping their lives at stake should be punished.
PFI which is involved in anti-national activities should be banned by the state government by taking a decision during the ongoing winter session of the state legislature, Sharan Pumpwell has demanded further.
