Vatal Nagaraj breaks coconut ahead of 2-crore mega protest plan

Mysuru: Veteran pro- Kannada leader and former MLA of Kannada Chaluvali Vatal Paksha Vatal Nagaraj, on Sunday staged a novel protest at Jayachamaraja Wadiyar Circle in the city.
Vatal Nagaraj broke coconuts as a prelude to the mega protest planned on April 26, by breaking 2 crore coconuts across the State. The protest is planned against the hike in prices, demand for jobs to Kannadigas, ban on Maharashtra Ekikaran Samiti (MES), condemn the atrocity of other language people, imposition of Hindi language, ban on other language films, implementation of Mahadayi, Kalasa Banduri and Mekedatu projects, hike in Metro fare, job for Kannadigas in Metro and several others.
Pro- Kannada activists Tejesh Lokesh Gowda, B A Shivashankar, Parthasarathi, Narayan and others were present.
