Vande Bharat Mission: 326 arrive from UK to Bengaluru

Bengaluru: As many as 326 Non-Resident Indians (NRI) from London arrived in Bengaluru.
They were brought to their motherland by the Central government in the World’s biggest evacuation Vande Bharat Mission in the wake of Covid-19 outbreak. Indians stranded in 14 countries are being brought under this mission.
On Monday, around 3 am, one flight from London arrived at Kempegowda International Airport in Devanahalli, Bengaluru.
Upon their arrival, they were screened for any symptoms of Covid-19. The state government has made quarantine must for these people at hotels and the expenses are borne by themselves.
Bengaluru Rural DC PN Ravindra was present at the airport to monitor the situation.
