Vadda Siddaramaiah! Former MP wants Eshwarappa sacked from cabinet
1 min readMysuru: Minister K S Eshwarappa’s remarks on former chief minister Siddaramaiah has landed him in trouble. Eshwarappa has called Siddaramaiah as ‘Vadda’ which can be loosely translated in English as ‘rugged’ in nature.
Former MP R Dhruvanarayan has said on September 18, “It is also an insult to Bhovi community and highly condemnable. Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa should sack Eshwarappa from the cabinet for repeatedly making such unparliamentary comments. He had recently spoken adversely against another community also”.
Congress leader G V Seetharam a former chairman of Bhovi Development Corporation demanded an apology from Eshwarappa and warned of gheraoing him, when he comes to Mysuru.
Congress district rural president Dr B J Vijaykumar, City president R Murthy, Mylac former chairman H A Venkatesh and Congress Sevadal leader Prakash were present at the press meet.
