Upon becoming MLC, Vishwanath lauds Yediyurappa as a ‘leader who walks the talk’

Mysuru: Former minister and newly nominated MLC A H Vishwanath on Wednesday described Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa as a leader who keeps his word.

Speaking to media persons at his K R Nagar residence in the district, Vishwanath said ” I express my gratitude to Yediyurappa and the party high command for considering my nomination to the Council from writers category. Yediyurappa also did not ignore those who helped him in restoring BJP to power in the state”.

Elated over his new role as a member of upper house of the state legislature, Vishwanath said ” I will strive to strengthen BJP in both K R Nagar and Hunsur Assembly constituencies”.

As the news was broken, fans and followers of Vishwanath erupted in joy and burst fire crackers outside his house.

BJP city president Krishna Bhat, general secretary Manu Uppar, district spokesperson Mirle Srinivas Gowda, Mehboob Khan, councillor Prakash, leaders Maduvanahalli Nataraj, Subramanya, Vinod, Anand and other leaders were present.
