UoM Kannada Degree Teachers Association extends relief to guest faculties kin

Mysuru: University of Mysore Kannada Degree Teachers Association, Mysuru, has extended a helping hand to the next of kin of two guest faculty who died of Covid-19.
Cheques for Rs 1.10 lakh (total Rs 2.2 lakh) was handed over to the each of families of Dr Baburaj and Venkatesh in the city on Thursday. They were also given a grocery kit.
Both the families were in financial crises. Responding to their condition, the Kannada teachers made generous contributions on their own collecting Rs 2.2 lakh in total.
Association President Prof H R Thimmegowda, Assistant Professor, University Evening College Dr C D Parashuram and Dr Nanjunda Swamy Haradanahalli, Assistant Professor, Kannada, Government Women’s First Grade College, Hunsur were present.
