University of Mysore student attempts suicide alleging harassment

Mysuru: A student of Physical Education Department of University of Mysore attempted suicide alleging harassment against faculty Venkatesh and two students in front of vice-chancellor’s chamber at Crawford Hall on Saturday.
The student identified as Gagan was rushed to hospital.
Gagan in a video alleged that he suffered physical and mental harassment at the hands of Venkatesh and two students, whom he did not name. So, he was forced to end his life.
Onlookers immediately rushed Gagan to the DRM hospital.
