University of Mysore conducts Covid awareness for Asha, Anganwadi workers in Chamarajanagar

Chamarajanagar: University of Mysore in association with the district administration, Zilla Panchayat and Soliga Abhivruddhi Sangha, Hanur had organised Covid-19 awareness programme and distribution of medical and food kits on Friday.
University of Mysore Vice- chancellor Prof G Hemanth Kumar presided over the programme held at Kollegal in the district.
The awareness programme was conducted for anganawadi and Asha workers and volunteers of tribal hamlets of the villages adopted under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan and Smart Village Yojane.
Taluk tribal welfare officer Manjula, Dr H P Jyothi Coordinator of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan and Smart Village Yojane and Mutthaiah secretary of Soliga Abhivruddhi Sangha were present.
