Union Budget-2024 aims at making of Viksit Bharat: LoP R Ashoka

Bengaluru: “The maiden budget of Prime Minister Modi 3.0 Government at the Centre, is an excellent and outstanding budget which will facilitate in making a prosperous and self-reliant ‘Viksit Bharat’,” observed Leader of Opposition (LoP) in Legislative Assembly R Ashoka.
Inspired by PM Modi’s vision of inclusive and fast paced development, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaraman has presented a comprehensive Budget, which will accelerate both economic growth and further welfare of the citizens.
This Budget stands distinct in many ways and by clearly outlining the BJP led NDA Government’s 9-key priorities for all-round and inclusive development, it has successfully elevated India’s growth trajectory. It will also go a long way in making the country, a five trillion dollar economy by the year 2027, enlivening the vision of PM Modi.
Several policies and programmes to support India’s farmers, youth, women and other weaker sections of the society have also been announced in the budget. The key sectors like infrastructure, agriculture, banking, renewable energy, industry, R&D and MSMEs have been given special care and attention, promising to accelerate the economy of the country.
“This budget aims at boosting demand, create new opportunities for youth and propel India’s economy onto the global stage. I thank Prime Minister and Finance Minister for giving India a monumental push to India’s economic and social development,” opined Ashoka.
