Udayagiri incident: CM Siddaramaiah tells cops to trace culprits, bring them to book

Bengaluru: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah discussed with the Deputy Commissioner of Mysuru G Lakshmikanth Reddy, Director General and Inspector General of Police (DG&IGP) Alok Mohan, Police Commissioner Seema Latkar and SP N Vishnuvardhan with regard to Udayagiri incident.
The Chief Minister said that, he has instructed the officials to initiate action within the ambit of law, against whoever is found guilty. The culprits should be identified and brought to book.
Those who pelted stone on the Police station and the persons, who instigated them, should be traced and subjected to action, but the innocents shouldn’t be troubled, the CM said.
Precautions should be taken against the recurrence of such incidents. Those who disturbed the law and order, should be brought within the framework of law, instructed the CM .
