Twin train tragedy: CM consoles kin of worried volleyball players from Mysuru

Bengaluru: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah spoke with the family members of 31 volleyball players from Mysuru who had a providential escape, after Yesvantpur- Howrah Express train met with accident at Balasore in Odisha.
The volleyball players from Mysuru were onboard Yesvantpur- Howrah Express that rammed into derailed Coromandel Express and a goods train at Balasore on Friday night.
CM Siddaramaiah told the worried family members that Labour Minister Santhosh Lad has been deployed to the accident site in Balsore and will be in touch with all of them.
The Chief Minister urged the passengers from Karnataka not to panic as the government is committed to bring them back safely.
