Tribals launch overnight protest

Mysuru: Tribals have launched overnight protest outside Dodda Hejjoor Gram Panchayat office at Hunsur taluk in the district on Monday.
The tribals are staging a sit-in under the banner of Karnataka Aranya Moola Budakattu Samudayagala Okkoota and Haadi Aranya Hakku Samitigala Okkoota.
The tribals are demanding for their share of rightful facilities from the government like- Road, drinking water and land for cultivation along with irrigation pumpsets.
