Tribals, Kodava women dance to the beat of native drums
1 min readMysuru: Dasara mood has set in as the countdown begins for the opening of Navaratri festivities at Chamundi Hill today.
Ahead of the arrival of President of India Draupadi Murmu to inaugurate the festivities, tribals and Kodava women dressed in their traditional attires danced to the beat of native drums.
The President will inaugurate the Navaratri festivities during the auspicious Vrishchchika lagna between 9.45 AM and 10.05 AM.
Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, Cooperation and district incharge Minister S T Somashekar, Kannada and Culture Minister Sunil Kumar and a host of dignitaries will be present.
