Toll hike on Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway revoked

Mysuru: In the wake of criticism and threat of protests over the hike in toll price on the Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway, the Highway Authority of India has shelved its decision – as of now – to collect increased toll.
The toll collection on the ten-lane was initiated from March 14 but in just two weeks, the authority has issued notice to collect increased toll. People were fuming as there was 22 per cent hike in the toll collection on the stretch. Following severe criticism from every corner, the highway authority has withdrawn its decision, for now.
