Mysuru: As the Covid-19 related restrictions announced by the state government on May 7 will come into effect from Monday (May 10), Police Commissioner Dr Chandragupta has issued a set of of rules to be followed, that will be effective till May 24, 6 AM.
From Monday, 6 AM to 10 AM, people are only allowed to purchase groceries, vegetables and fruits.
Barring goods vehicles, no personal vehicles (two-wheeler and four-wheeler) are allowed to shop, people should only walk to nearby shops to buy essentials. Any violations, people will have to face stern action.
Police commissioner also categorically mentioned that only one person from each household is allowed to step out to buy essentials. The people are also warned from travelling from one end to another.
The police are permitted to check residential proof, along with the reasons given by the people on foot.
In case of any violations, the vehicles will be seized for 15 days or till the government orders will be in place.
Police commissioner requested the people of the city to cooperate by abiding by the curbs without fail.
