Tiger suspected to have killed Hunsur farmer trapped in cage

Mysuru: Two days after a tiger created a havoc at Neralakuppe in Hunsur near Nagarahole National Tiger Reserve Forest, the big cat has been finally trapped on Wednesday. The animal was found trapped in the cage.

Two days ago Neralakuppe villager Jagadeesh went missing from the border of forest. Later, his dress blood stained shirt was found in a distance alluding at the possibilities of tiger attack.
 
The forest officials headed by Nagarahole CCF Mahesh kumar had launched operation to capture the tiger.
 
Forest officials visit the spot after Jagadeesh of Neralakuppe was suspected to be killed in tiger attack.
 
Dasara elephant Balarama, camp elephants Bheema and Mahendra had been summoned for the operation. After a few hours of combing, the remains of Jagadeesh were found near a place called Handi Halla. The forest officials kept two cages at the same spot, as animals have the habit of returning to the spot where they leave the kill.
 
Now, that the tiger is captured, albeit with minor injuries, villagers are heaving a sigh of relief.
