Tiger kills farmer near Hunsur

Mysuru: A tiger fatally attacked a farmer in Udevapura village in Hunsur taluk, Mysuru on Sunday.
The deceased farmer identified as Ganesh, 55. It is said that he had taken his cattle for grazing at the Nagarahole forest buffer zone that abutts Muddanahalli forest area when the tiger attacked him. His half-eaten corpse has been discovered late Sunday night.
Upset villagers have demanded the forest officers to catch the tiger. It may be recalled here that in September 21, a similar incident was reported. A tiger had attacked Ramesh of Muddanahalli who succumbed to his injuries later in a hospital.
