Tiger found dead in Bandipur; road kill suspected

Chamarajanagar: In yet another case of tiger death reported in Bandipur forest in the recent past, a carcass of a big cat has been found on Saturday.
The carcass was found near jungle lodges and resort limited at Maguvinahalli in Gundlupet taluk. It’s located a few yards away from Gundlupet- Ooty road that passes through the forest.
According to preliminary information, it is suspected to have been knocked down by an unidentified vehicle. According to another version, the animal may have died in a fight with another animal.
The forest personnel have rushed to the spot.
