Tiger attack? Cow found dead on eve of Beladakuppe fair

Mysuru: As the villagers in and around Sargur and H D Kote are preparing for Beladakuppe Mahadeshwara Fair at the temple inside Hediyala range of Bandipur forest, a cow was found dead at Shivapura in Sargur taluk on November 23. The fair starts on November 24.
The carcass of the cow suspected to be devoured by a tiger was found. The cattle belongs to Mahadevappa of Shivapura.
The forest officials have rushed to the spot as the village comes under Hediyala the critical tiger zone.
