Three cows electrocuted to death at Varakod village

Mysuru: Three cows that came in contact with a snapped electric wire died at Varakod village in the district on Monday. They are worth Rs 97,000.
The cattle owned by Mahadevu of the village were grazing at the agricultural field of Sridhar, when the tragedy struck.
A cattle grazer who noticed the incident tried to save the animals, but he too suffered the shock.
One was a HF breed worth Rs 45,000, desi breed worth Rs 40,000 worth and a Jersey breed calf worth Rs 12,000.
