Thousands witness Ugadi Rathotsava at M M Hills

Chamarajanagar: Thousands of devotees witnessed Ugadi Rathotsava at Male Mahadeshwara Swamy temple premises at Male Mahadeshwara Hills in the district on Sunday.
Salur mutt seer Sri Shanthamallikarjuna Swamiji took part in the religious rituals.
The charriot decorated with flowers of various hues, in which the utsava murty of Mahadeshwara was placed, was taken around the temple.
Nadaswara playing artistes, veerabhadra kunita, added colour to the religious ceremony, that attracts a large number of devotees from across the State and also the neighbouring Tamilnadu.
