Theft at resort! Former security guard turns out to be burglar, articles worth Rs five lakh recovered

Mysuru: Beechanahalli police have cracked a theft case at a resort within 24 hours of reporting the incident.
Interestingly the accused is none other than a former security guard of the resort and valuables worth Rs five lakh are recovered from him.
Nagaraju of Badanaguppe village in H D Kote taluk is the accused. He was apprehended near a bar at the handpost in H D Kote.
A customer had reported the theft of valuables at room number 22 of Red Earth resort at Badanaguppe on November 21.
It included diamond and gold ornaments, cash of Rs 60,000, laptop, e-book reader and Internet dongle all worth Rs five lakh.
Hunsur DySP K S Sunderraj supervised the investigation carried out by H D Kote circle police Inspector Puttaswamy, SI Ramachandra Nayak, constables Revanna, Ravi, Nagegowda and Suresh and jeep driver Mahadevashetty.
SP C B Ryshyanth and ASP Shivakumar appreciated the police for cracking the case.
