Temporary vegetable markets at Dasara expo grounds, Lalit Mahal Palace grounds stopped from June 1: MCC

Mysuru: In the wake of surge in Covid-19 cases, Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) has suspended the temporary vegetable markets opened at Dasara Exhibition grounds on M G road and Lalit Mahal Palace grounds.
The order will be effective from June 1 to June 7 till the end of present lockdown period.
The decision has been taken in the interest of farmers and general public with the spurt in infection in the community level.
The rate of infection is rapid especially at markets and other crowded areas, the release added.
