Teachers stage protest outside DDPI’s office

Mysuru: Teachers have been staging a protest demonstration outside the office of DDPI in the city on Wednesday. The protest is being staged against the present transfer policy, which is allegedly being misused to target teachers.
The teachers who are staging a protest under Karnataka State High School Teachers Association and Forum of Permanent Transfer of Primary School Teachers, demanded for revocation of permanent transfer policy. It is being used to target and trouble teachers. The teachers are not against transfer, but against unscientific transfer policy, they alleged.
J C Shankar, Devaraj, Ramprasad and Udayshankar took part in the protest.
