Mysuru: The taluk administration has decided to file an appeal at the Supreme Court against the recent order of High Court in a case related to landed properties of Wadiyars the erstwhile royal family of Mysuru.

This development stems from the measures taken by the royal family, by installing a board in the radius of Hotel Lalithmahal Palace helipad.

According to the board- It is a private property of P D Wadiyar ( Pramoda Devi Wadiyar). The trespassers and illegal transactions will be dealt according to law- Estate Officer, Palace, Mysuru
The members of the royal family alleged that despite the court order, the taluk administration did not issue land documents to them and argued that the land belongs to the government
The high court in its order has declared that 1,500 acres of land under survey number 4 is a private property. Hence the royal family has asserted its ownership and installed a board.
Now, the taluk administration is planning to approach Supreme Court.
