Talent hunt begins at Christ College

Mysuru: ‘Talent Hunt’ a yearly exercise to look for the hidden talents in the students and to provide a perfect platform has begun at Christ College in the city.

It is organised by the literary and cultural committee ( LCA) of the college.

M R Sudheendra director of Flyingkites Media gave a call to the students to set a goal, focus and try hard till the goal is achieved. Face obstacles and rejections, but never give up on the failures’.

He cited the examples of successful entrepreneurs like N R Narayan Murty of Infosys Technologies, Rithesh Agarwal of OYO Hotels Group who have proved to be their own boss through their hard work, commitment and passion’.

Sudheendra himself is a perfect example as he started his career in a cable network and later contributed his talent to TV channels like Suvarna, Kasturi, Zee Kannada, Udaya TV, before being a part of ‘Rambo’ Kannada movie.

In his presidential address, college principal Fr Biju P D stressed on the importance of opportunities provided to the students to showcase their talents.

He also highlighted the necessity of protecting culture, heritage and historical icons of the country. The logo of talent hunt was also launched on the occasion.

The college band and dance troupe added festive colour to the event.

Coordinators of talent hunt Shilpa S and Dhanya Bijukumar were present.
