Tackling Covid-19, handling flood, first priority of new CM Basavaraj Bommai

Bengaluru: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Tuesday said “Pro-people administration is my priority.”
After his official announcement as new Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP national president J P Nadda and outgoing CM B S Yediyurappa.
“My priority is to tackle Covid-19, flood situation and implementation of budget. I will check the financial status of the state and take step towards new level of administration,” said Bommai.
With the concern of people and confidence of BJP leaders and under the guidance of B S Yediyurappa I will discharge duties, said Bommai.
“The party hasn’t laid down any conditions”, said Bommai.
Yediyurappa said all the national leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, unanimously elected Basavaraj Bommai as chief minister.
