T-20 match! BMTC to run extra buses for cricket lovers

Bengaluru: As a T-20 cricket match is slated to be played at Chinnaswamy Cricket Stadium in the city on September 22, Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation ( BMTC) will be operating extra buses for the benefit of cricket lovers.

A press release from the office of PRO, BMTC says ‘The match will commence at 7 pm and buses will be operated from 5 pm from different parts of the city. The buses will also be operated from the stadium at 11.30 pm based on the demand from the public.

The buses will be operated on the following routes- Route Number SBS 1k- Shivajinagar to Kadugodi bus stand via Trinity Circle, Domluru, HAL and Marathahalli, G-2- Mayo Hall to Sarjapura via Viveknagar, Koramangala and Agara, G-3- Brigade road to Electronic City via Adogodi, Madiwala and Bommanahalli, G-4- Brigade road to Bannerghatta National Park, via Adugodi, Jayadeva and Hulimavu Gate, G-6- Shantinagar bus stand to Kengeri, KHB Quarters via Mysuru road, Nayandanahalli and Kengeri, G-7- Kempegowda bus stand to Janapriya Township via Magadi road, Sunkadakatte and Gollarahatti, G-8- M G road Metro Station to Nelamangala via Shivajinagar, Mekhri Circle and Yashwanthpur, G-9- M G Road Metro  station to Yelahanka fifth phase via Shivajinagar, Mekhri Circle and Hebbal, G- 10- K R Market to R K Hegde Nagar via Shivajinagar, Tyanari road and Nagawara and G-11- M G Road metro station to Bagalur via Shivajinagar, Lingarajapura and Hennur cross.

Passengers have to alight at the bus stop close to the stadium.
