SWR Mysuru officers distribute 85 ration kits to porters, housekeeping staff

Mysuru: Continuing with its endeavour to help the marginalized sector, South Western Railways (SWR), Mysuru Division has teamed up with a few individuals from corporate world for the cause of licenced porters and housekeeping staff.
Officers from Railway workshop led by Chief Workshop Manager, P Srinivasu and officers from Construction Wing of the Railways donated about 85 ration kits to the licensed luggage porters and housekeeping staff working in Mysuru Railway station to tide over the crisis for a week or so.
Divisional Railway Manager Aparna Garg had made fervent appeal to philanthropists, NGOs and organisations.
The railway officers associations have already distributed over 300 ration kits in the last one month, according to Priya Shetty Divisional Commercial Manager, SWR and PRO.
