SWR GM conducts inspection, passenger outreach in Subrahmanya Road–Hassan section

Hassan: Mukul Saran Mathur, General Manager, conducted a comprehensive inspection at Subrahmanya Road Station recently, reviewing the progress of the ongoing Amrit Bharat Station Scheme redevelopment works. The inspection focused on improving passenger amenities, station infrastructure, and overall service quality.

He was accompanied by Mudit Mittal, Divisional Railway Manager, Mysuru and other senior officers.

As part of the visit, the General Manager also inspected the electrification work of the Sakleshpur ghat section, assessing the readiness and safety standards of the newly electrified stretch.

Additionally, a window-triangle inspection was carried out between Subrahmanya Road and Hassan, covering track conditions, signaling systems, and other operational aspects to ensure smooth and safe train movement in the section.

During the field visit, Mathur and Mittal interacted with passengers at Subrahmanya Road Station, gathering feedback on facilities, services, and travel experience. Senior officials were present to note suggestions and ensure timely action for improvement.

The series of inspections and public interactions reflect the Railway administration’s continued commitment to strengthening infrastructure, accelerating developmental works, and enhancing passenger-centric services.
