Swift operation! Alanahalli cops nab three ‘kidnappers’ in 60 minutes

Mysuru: Alanahalli police have arrested three youths who had allegedly kidnapped a youth for ransom.

Yashwanth, 25 years is the youth who was rescued by policemen in the nick of time. 

The accused- Manjunath, 29, Nadanahalli, Naveen, 32, Subramanyeshwar Nagar and Nagaraju alias Koti Naga, 25, Nadanahalli had kidnapped Yeshwanth from near Devegowda Circle on December 1. They had called Yeshwanth’s brother Manu and had demanded Rs 50,000 ransom.

Manu informed police, who acting on his leads successfully nabbed abductors near Kanaka Bhavan in Nadanahalli and rescued the youth.

The case was solved within one hour of receiving the complaint.

The police team was led by Inspector Hariyappa, ASI Sridhar H K, and Chowdappa, Shivaprasad and Manik.

The operation was carried out under the guidance of DCP ( Law and Order) M Muthuraj and ACP ( Devaraja sub- division) M N Shashidhar.
