New Delhi: The City of Palaces Mysuru has won five star ratings in Garbage Free City category of Swachh Survekshan 2021.
Besides, Mysuru city is awarded as Best ‘Self- Sustainable Medium City’ ( 3 to 10 lakh population).
President of India Ram Nath Kovind, Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs presented annual Swacchata Awards 2021.
Mayor Sunanda Phalanetra, Urban Development Minister Bairati Basavaraj, MCC Commissioner Lakshmikanth Reddy and Health Officer Dr D G Nagaraj received the awards in New Delhi on Saturday.
