Suspecting extra-marital affair, man murders wife in Jayanagar

Mysuru: A man allegedly murdered his wife at Jayanagar in the city on Wednesday.
Rajesh, 40, who was suspecting the fidelity of his wife Nalini (32) allegedly hit her to death with a machete, under the influence of liquor.
The couple along with their two children were earlier residing at Ramabai Nagar. Upon suspecting his wife’s extra-marital affair, Rajesh had shifted the house to Jayanagar recently. However his wife had allegedly continued with the affair. The couple was frequently quarrelling over the issue.
Ashokapuram police have taken Rajesh into their custody.
