Kalaburagi: Has the dreaded Novel Coronavirus has claimed its first victim in the State?
A news of this kind is doing rounds on social media with an official communique released from the office of district health officer on March 10. A man has died due to suspected Coronavirus.
According to the communique, “Mohammed Hussain Siddiqui, aged 74 years, has died of suspected Covid19. Kalaburagi Taluk Health Officer Dr Sharanabasappa Kyatanal and team of health officials have been directed to manage the situation till the last rites are conducted. Deputy commissioner of Kalaburagi has issued oral orders in this direction”.
