Mysuru: Amid speculations over change of Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa, religious leaders especially Veerashaiva-Lingayat mutts seers are extending their support to the former in large numbers.
On Thursday, swamijis from various mutts in Mysuru and Chamarajanagar districts left for Bengaluru to meet Yediyurappa.
The swamijis boarded a bus from Hosamutt premises on Shankaramutt reading the city. They will be meeting Yediyurappa only to instil courage.
About 70 swamijis have left for Bengaluru to mount pressure on the high command to drop its plans to replace Yediyurappa.
