Mysuru: Channeshaiah superintendent of Government School for Deaf and Blind, Tilak Nagar in the city has retired from the service.
He served the department for 34 years since his appointment to Girls Juvenile Home in the year 1985. After one year he was transferred to Government School for Deaf as a teacher in 1986. He later became in-charge superintendent and superintendent and served till his retirement on April 30.
The colleagues had organised a farewell ceremony at the school, that was attended by Channeshaiah and his family members.
