Sunday lockdown! MLA Sa Ra Mahesh to supply food kits to 147 families

Mysuru: Former minister and JD(S) MLA Sa Ra Mahesh on Saturday inspected Brahmin’s street and Kote beedhi in K R Nagar.
Both the streets have been sealed down and the MLA promised to distribute essential items to around 147 households from his own pocket.
Mahesh who inspected the arrangements in place along with officials, told that ” I will take the responsibility of providing food kits to all those families, as all the shops will be shut during lockdown on Sunday. He also promised to make arrangements to supply fodder for cattle and directed PDO Manjunath to take measures”.
Mahesh directed CPI P K Raju to act without showing any mercy and look into it that “nobody enters and exits from containment areas that have been sealed down”.
Tahsildar Manjula, Deputy Tahsildar Mahesh, THO Dr Mahendrappa and PSI Chetan were present.
