Sumalatha Ambareesh thankful to both Congress, BJP

Mysuru: Mandya MP Sumalatha Ambareesh has said on October 16 that she is thankful to both Congress and BJP parties. Do you know why?
Sumalatha who spoke during the thanks giving ceremony organised by Taluk Swabhimani Balaga at K R Nagar taluk said “I am thankful to Congress party workers for supporting me ignoring the instructions of the party and BJP for not fielding any candidate in my support”.
Sumalatha said “I will not forget who upheld the self- respect irrespective of caste and party. From common man to farmers everybody have supported me and I will not forget them”.
I contested the elections with the intention of doing social work, not for the sake of any politics and power. I am committed towards the development of Mandya constituency, said Sumalatha.
Taluk Kuruba Association President Cheernahalli Shivanna requested the MP to open an office in K R Nagar taluk as it will be difficult for the people of the taluk to reach Mandya, which is far away.
Soon after the convention, Sumalatha received the grievances from the people.
Taluk Panchayat president Mallika Ravikumar, film producer Rockline Venkatesh, ZP former members G R Ramegowda and Rajaiah, APMC former director Hadya kumar and KPCC member S P Thammaiah also spoke at the meeting.
